All worksheetsWhat kindergartners are learning
Kindergarten math is about numbers to 20, counting objects, comparing groups and adding and subtracting within 10. In reading, children learn every letter and its sound, hear rhymes and beginning sounds, blend short words like cat and sun and read their first sight words. In handwriting they print upper and lowercase letters on primary lines.
How to use these worksheets
Pages have two or three tasks and take 10 to 20 minutes. Do the phonics pages out loud: say the word, stretch the sounds, listen for the first one. Self-checking pages, like color by code and mystery pictures, let your child see right away if the work is correct. Each worksheet shows the Common Core code it practices.
